Our History
Systems Automotive Interiors Alabama (SAIA) was formed in April 2020 on the core principles of customer satisfaction and capacity building. Consequently, the company put in place effective teams and systems to provide high-quality automotive interior parts to its customer. Beginning in September 2021, SAIA has consistently produced, sequenced, and shipped complete Toyota Corolla seat sets into the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, U.S.A. (MTMUS) plant located in Huntsville, AL.
SAIA represents a strategic alliance with Systems Enterprise, Toyota Boshoku America and AKI USA. Collaboratively, the entities manufacture, sequence and deliver varied passenger seat types for Toyota’s Corolla Cross and Mazda’s CX-50 compact crossover SUVs. SAIA is a Tier 1 supplier to the joint venture between Mazda and Toyota, known as MTMUS and operating its automotive manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Toyota Boshoku Aki (TBAKI) starts the initial assembly of the seats and SAIA completes the final assembly process.
SAIA is part of the Systems Automotive Group (SAG) which has more than 20 years of combined automotive Tier 1 supplier experience. SAG has a successful track record of performance, quality, diligence, flexibility, and exceeding customers’ expectation.

SAIA is certified by the Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council (SRMSDC), National Supplier Minority Development Council (NMSDC), and the State of Alabama Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
